Configuring smartDocs: What does the smartDocs Api Products/smartDocs Settings do?

Hi,

In the drupal dev portal, if you navigate to configuration > smartDocs > API Products/smartDocs Settings it says you can "create a correlation between your products and SmartDocs internally."

The official apigee documentation for configuring the smartDocs module doesn't mention this section.

What does "creating correlations between products and smartDocs" actually do? Did I miss documentation somewhere?

@Michael Haggerty that configuration does not work.

If you want to associate a product to and API documentation I would suggest you use tags.
