Can we password-protect our work on http://playground.apistudio.io/

Is there a way to manage who is able to edit the playground/view it?

No. You cannot currently.

Apistudio is getting embedded in the next version of Edge UI. If you login to Edge today it will give you an option for trying out the new UI and you can see Apistudio there. So it is already protected with Authentication and RBAC.

, that seems like a good solution ; except, that it's missing Insert >> New Path and Insert >> New Model. That feature is missing, correct?

You don't need that anymore, do you? Any new model is a new spec. You can just create a new spec and save in Apigee itself. There is a +Spec button.
