Not able to create encrypted KVM

Not applicable

I am trying to create encrypted KVM using Edge Management API, but it creates KVM in Edge with same value as given in payload but not encrypted value.

I followed below link and using "encrypted" : "true", in payload while sending the request.

https://docs.apigee.com/management/apis/post/organizations/%7Borg_name%7D/environments/%7Benv_name%7...

Please guide.

@Apoorva Gupta The encrypted KVM feature is not available in 4.16.09.00 private cloud yet. Those changes are live in our public cloud version running on 160921. Expect these changes to be shipped in private cloud 4.17.01.00 scheduled to be released in early Jan 2017.

@Apoorva Gupta ,

See an article here in Apigee Engineering blog that explains how to work with encrypted KVMs. I have just verified same & it works as expected.

It's pretty clear & straight forward. You can have encrypted KVMs in a couple of minutes. Just few clicks in Edge UI, that's it. Keep us posted if any.

I see this article is for Edge Cloud Version. We are using Edge On Premise 4.16.09.00.

I have followed the same steps mentioned in article but still can't see the encrypted feature in our Edge UI or by Edge Management API. Attached the screenshots for reference.

Apoorca,

As mentioned above the feature is not available on Edge (on premises) 4.16.09. Please upgrade to 4.17.01 http://docs.apigee.com/release-notes/content/41701-edge-private-cloud-release-notes
