Unable to import Smartdocs file in Swagger 2.0 format using cURL command.

I am not able to import Smartdocs model into the developer portal using curl command. I am the administrator and I am using the following command :

curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Basic <*masked*> " -H "Content-Type: multipart/form-data;" -F "api_definition=C:\path.json" http://dev-digitalves.devportal.apigee.com/admin/content/smartdocs/models/2006bb85-664e-40d1-ab52-85...

The 'Access Denied' page shows up in response.

I didn't know it was possible to do this. I'm interested if so.
