How Can I use API Proxies to connect my backend via HTTPS?

Not applicable

Hi!

I was trying to create a API Proxy pointing to my Backend hosted in Pivotal Cloud Foundry Environment. But as Pivotal gives you sercured urls HTTPS, Apigee Edge is not able to communicate with this backend and always raises a 503 HTTP Error status code.

How Can I solve this? Thank you very much!!!! for your help

You can definitely do this. If your backend server only supports two-way SSL then you need to setup a keystore/truststore in your org and then use this information in the proxy under the <SSLInfo> tag of the TargetEndpoint. You can find the documentation here: http://docs.apigee.com/api-services/content/configuring-ssl-edge-backend-service
