Unable to read SOAP WSDL ?

i am getting the following error while importing WSDL in APIGEE

Fetch WSDL Error: Could not download resource. peer not authenticated.

I am using HTTPS enabled Soap Webservice .

Are you able to retrieve the WSDL in a browser? If you can download it, you can point to a WSDL file in the new API proxy wizard instead of a URL.
