Error when installing apigee-service

I am trying to install 13 node apigee edge cluster and get error when installing apigee-service. I'm able to successfully get bootstrap.sh and docs from FTP site so it doesn't appear user/password is issue. Below is error I'm getting when running command on Centos 6.5 in AWS vm.

bash /tmp/bootstrap.sh apigeeuser=uName apigeepassword=pWord

Apigee bootstrap 1.0-218 (origin/OPDK_1601, 2016.05.13,15:52)

What special characters are valid? The fact is that you cannot specify a password without a special character

There are multiple possible causes related to this issue:
  • connectivity issues to software.apigee.com. You can test this by running the commands below:
nc -v software.apigee.com 443
telent software.apigee.com 443
  • Incorrect Password for software.apigee.com. To test that you can use the command below:
curl -i -u <username>:<password> https://software.apigee.com/apigee-repo.rpm
  • Special character contained in the password
  • Your local configuration uses egress http proxy and you have not extended the same configuration to yum package manager. Check your environment variables:
echo $http_proxy
echo $https_proxy
  • In case of egress http proxy you should use one of the following options:
    • add http proxy configuration in /etc/yum.conf
    • add global http proxy configuration in /etc/environment
