is apigee having Road map to import the swagger specs to apigee edge directly?

That capability already exists in the Apigee Edge UI. You can import a swagger spec URL and it creates a proxy for you. In future we would support uploading a swagger spec file from the file system, similar to WSDL import. Also there's some interesting work happening on how you store and manage your spec files. Those would be available once we roll out the new Apigee UI. Unfortunately I do not have a ETA on the feature GA.

Just FYI, It's now called OpenAPI Spec . We will be using OpenAPI Spec instead of Swagger in all communications moving forward.
