Which JDK should I use on production environment?

Hello Apigee Community!

I have a question regarding JDK on production environment. Apigee supports both:

- Oracle JDK 1.7

- OpenJDK 7

We have decided to use Amazon Linux that has already configured OpenJDK and takes care of all updates.

Do you suggest to use one in particular? Or maybe you had some problems with one JDK and not with another? I would love to hear your opinions.

Most Private Cloud customers use Oracle JDK. We support both.

We are using Oracle JDK 1.7 in our Private Cloud environment, without any issues.
