Are there any guidelines and best practices around deploying Edge Microgateway?

I can install Edge Microgateway on the same server as my application. Alternatively, I can have a server with microgateway(s) serving all downstream applications. What's the recommended deployment model? When should I chose what model?

Installing Edge Microgateway on the same server as your application will reduce the latency further. Also you can spin-off the Microgateway instances on-demand as you deploy your applications on new servers.
