scripted configuration of portal and SmartDocs

I understand the management portal has apis which allow creating and changing apis to be scriptable. Are you aware if anyone is using salt to configure Edge? How about the drupal portal? E.g. is it possible to add documentation to SmartDocs and set access permissions through scripting?

This tool available on github shows how you can script the loading of content into a Drupal portal.

I haven't extended the examples to do loading of OpenAPI Spec models.
