I want to know the role we can to define for an APIGEE proxy developer in a Company.
He will be doing requirements gathering,Resource modeling,APIGEE Proxy design,APIGEE Proxy development,Onboarding developer, developer application, creating products, writing API documentation for developer portal, doing testing for APIGEE proxy.
So,for these responsibilities given to a person, what is the role we should define for him?
Is he just APIGEE proxy developer?Or any other better role name?
@Subbu R ,
Interesting Question, I would call him API Developer / API Architect with Apigee Expertise 🙂
Just did some research on LinkedIn, here is what I found,
Digital Architect sounds really cool, what do you say ?
Thank you...
And Thanks a lot for your time in linkedin search as well.
Digital Architect sounds great to me 🙂
But it does not connect with APIGEE.If a person works in only APIGEE,can he be also called as APIGEE API Management professional?
Also,he is still a developer and not an Architect even though he is involved in Requirements gathering and Resource modeling.
Should he be really called as Architect?
It sounds like the person is doing a whole lot more than just proxy development.
In terms of the roles they are performing, from that list I see
That sounds like a whole team to me!
I would not get too caught up in titles but certainly thing something involving Digital Transformation makes sense as that it the thread that ties it all together.
Thankyou..
In some projects,I could see same person working in all these areas.Hence wanted to know how best they can be called with a APIGEE related role.
