swagger 1.2 editor somewhere? for apigee edge

Hi, Im in the need to document (create smartdocs) APIs using the DEV portal. (we currently have Apigee Edge) Ive read in docs that smart docs support json from Swagger 1.2.

I dont see any editor for Swagger 1.2 (The current editor works for 2.0 which I believe is not supported by smartdocs)

Is there a way to create Swagger 1.2 json?

Is there an editor for Swagger 1.2 spec ?

Part of the reason why we helped kick off the Swagger 2.0 working group is because the 1.2 spec didn't lend itself to an editing workflow (e.g. multiple, distributed files with lots of repetition). SmartDocs support for 2.0 is coming (has a dependency on the swagger-codegen project major release).

I wish I had a better answer, but help is on the way.
