in case of accidentally removing an api proxy, does apigee support
restoring it within apigee itself ? or is it other way around, that as a developer need to backup proxy each day with "download current revision" option?
Apigee does not automatically backup or restore proxies. You must download the revisions that you want saved off and put them under version control if you need to upload them again for some reason.
