Is it possible to have https client certificate configured for the connection between the Portal and Edge ?

Not applicable

In a Private Cloud we would need to have the Edge device in a trusted zone and the customer Developer Portal in our DMZ or Cloud. The Portal needs to be configured to talk with the Edge with a userid/password that has Admin access on the Edge. However before this authentication could happen, we need to be able to get through other security layers from the Cloud or DMZ through to the trusted zone where the Edge is. Is it possible to config the Portal to use a https client certificate when it connects to the Edge device ?

The client certificate would be used by the an intermediate security later reverse proxy to verify that the Portal is a know system and then pass through the traffic to the Edge, which will then authenticate the userid/password configured in the Portal for an admin account on the Edge.

Put more simply, can the Portal to Edge connection support two-way SSL or just one-way SSL ?
