What does it mean the NORTHBOUND and SOUTHBOUND API's in Apigee? How to get the analytic stat of northbound and southbound api's?

Northbound and Southbound are general industry terms.

In Apigee world Northbound maps to Proxy and Southbound to Target.

Under analytics tab you will see graphs and charts called Proxy Performance and Target Performance.
