How can I create a DNS Zone (in the console) with a domain name containing an umlaut, like familie-g

Sorry, if I'm wrong here. But it's actually quite hard to find the right place to ask this question.

So I'm trying to create a DNS zone via the Console for a domain name that contains an umlaut. I get the following error when trying to do so.

Any help appreciated.

I just tried the same thing via the gcloud CLI tool with the same result.

Just found out the reason and a solution. I need to convert none-ascii domain names to punycode ... I didn't know that and the help was not very helpful ... https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punycode
