After a frustrating few hours trying to setup DuetAI in Cloud Workstation I finally was on the same page as the demo from the Cloud On Air Accelerating AI Development event.
It might have been the frustration from building out all the modules but when I got to the point of finally using DuetAI, I basically said to myself “thats it?”. Then I tried to use Big Query Duet AI and I found out that I had to do more IAM work. I wanted to know if anyone has a trustworthy template for Cloud Workstation and DuetAI setup. If I had to jump thru that many hoops for a demo project, I am not sure it’s worth the trouble of rollout for others.
I comparing the code generated from DuetAI and Copilot and will share with anyone that is interested.
