Joining data sets with different time series

Hi,

so I´m joining different data sets form Google Sheets.

I have Dates in these table

First is daily.

Second is monthly.

In my dashboard I have a a Datepicker for daily report. How can I ignore the “Day” and show de result for “month” for my variable (from my second data source) ?

I have custom the date range (this month to date) but when I use my date picker it will always show this month and not dinamically change.

Different to Power BI, where I can “ignore”  the day, and show the result in a matrix.

I would appreciate the information.
