Let's dive into the key takeaways! 👇

Why Google Cloud Credentials Matter 🤔

As Christopher shared, skills, not degrees, are a key trend shaping the future of recruitment. 72% of HR professionals say they are more likely to hire a candidate with strong skills than one with a relevant degree. With rapid, ongoing changes in cloud technology, organizations are seeking individuals who can demonstrate their agility and up-to-date expertise. Google Cloud credentials provide a way for you to validate your skills and stand out in a competitive job market.

Google Cloud Credentials: A Breakdown 🎓

Margot outlined the different types of Google Cloud credentials available:

  • Google Cloud Skill Badges: Skill badges are digital credentials issued by Google Cloud in recognition of your hands-on abilities with Google Cloud products. Showcase introductory, intermediate and advanced level skills that can be applied to real-life scenarios.
  • Google Cloud Certifications: Certifications demonstrate your ability to apply knowledge and hands-on skills based on technical and/or business requirements within an enterprise setting. Associate or Professional Google Cloud Certifications validate your breadth of knowledge and skills related to a cloud job role. The Cloud Digital Leader certification is a great way to validate your foundational understanding of Google Cloud products and services.
  • And Introducing...
 Google Cloud Certificates! 🎉

Google Cloud has expanded its credential offerings with the launch of Google Cloud Certificates! These certificates allow you to develop in-demand skills for entry-level cloud roles in areas like data analytics and cybersecurity. You can explore training content at no cost on YouTube.
