Expression assistant regression?

Expression assistant no longer retains indentation from the previous line, and does not allow you to enter line-breaks in some cases. What has happened here? Did I miss some news? It's been like this for a couple weeks now. I even sent a ticket in about the 1st item, but haven't heard back. Anybody know anything, or is experiencing it as well?

Are you talking about indents? The main thing I noticed that I thought is different is that when using line breaks there is now line numbers which I don't recall being there before either.

Today I'm experiencing that Ctrl-Z doesn't work in the expression assistant. I'm pretty sure it used to, but I could be mis-remembering.

As an example, say I paste something in, then I hit Ctrl-Z. I'd expect the pasted text to go away, but instead nothing happens at all.

If you paste first it doesn't work. If you type first, and then paste it works. 
We have it on our list, but would not anticipate this getting prioritized.
