could someone please explain the difference between x_apigee_tracking_id and x_apigee_message_id in apigee-x and which is used for what purpose.

For x_apigee_tracking_id could be custom internal variable (un-documented) will wait for experts to provide more insights. Is it a curious question or any specific usecase which you are looking to use?

It's just a curious question since we couldn't find anything specific to x_apigee_tracking_id in any documentation, but we could see this field while using the trace/debug session.
