change casandra IPs

Hello All,

Please help me to understand how to change the IP of cassandra servers for internode connectivity only. We have two NIC attached to each cassandra nodes. All apigee components communicate over NIC1 but we want to use NIC2 for cassandra internode connectivity. The link to move cassandra servers will not work because I just want to change the IP(NIC of listener port for cassandra internode communication. Thrift Ip (NIC1) for 9042 and 9160 port will be same. I am trying to use property  "conf_cassandra_listen_address" and assign NIC2 IP all other components after restart start using this IP instead of the thrift IP of port 9042 and 9160. Can someone help to understand this.
