Will backed up Qpid queues cause back pressure on Message Processors?

Are exceptions similar to below example likely to cause back pressure and performance issues on Message Processors?

The Analytics subsystem is asynchronous and fire-and-forget with respect to the message processing capability.

That said, its probably a good idea to resolve that issue with capacity on the Qpids.
