Why don't we have an option to update the Expiry time of Developer App credentials/keys??

Hi Team,

I am posting this question in continuation to this question. I know that the expiry time can not be updated neither through UI nor through Management API.

I want to understand the reason behind it. I have worked with many customers and they have this as a very basic requirement to update the expiry time later on when required. But I do not see an option.

We have managed to achieve this using custom attributes and then validate the expiry time during runtime but since we have an option to set the expiry time on edge UI why not to update it??

It's an interesting idea. It would simplify things, in many cases.
