Is there a way to find out the validity/expiry of the Apigee License file in private cloud (OPDK)? We can set up alert notifications for emitting a WARNING or a CRITICAL state N days before expiry in the monitoring system.
You need to send the license file to Apigee support team to validate the expiry.
@akinadiyil Can it be done without manual intervention instead of customer sending the license file to Apigee support team for validity/expiry?
As of now the license validity can be determined only by contacting the support team. If the license is expired then management server will log a corresponding message in the log file.
@akinadiyil, The message will appear in the logs only when the license has expired. However there is no way for OPDK customers to proactively know the remaining validity of the license. I would be a good feature to have some sort of notifications shown on the UI or an email sent out for OPDK installs.
