Using nginx with Apigee edge

How do i configure my apigee edge box ,so that all the requests are routed via nginx installed on a separate VM. Can someone provide a sample nginx.conf

Apigee comes with a router out of the box that takes care of SSL termination and internal load balancing. Is there any other reason you need a separate nginx router ?

its required as a pass through .apigee behind an external load balancer to hide the port 9001 to external customers.
