Unable to see custom data collector when create custom report

Hi Community,

Anyone has success in following this page (https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/analytics/using-data-capture)  to create a custom report on custom data captured in my proxy flow. I attempted but cannot see the new custom data collector I created under the "Add metrics" list on the Create Custom Report screen. Any tricks or missing steps that may help? Tried both Apigee Class and Apigee X on GCC.

Adding the screen capture for the steps I followed (dc_test was added previously but we can't replicate that, and also noticed the Apigee console on GCC also does not show dc_test on the list when create new custom analytic report):
