Unable to import DB of one portal to another portal using Pantheon.

Hi,

I was trying to create a replica environment of an existing portal.

Portal 1 :

Exported DB and Code using Pantheon

Portal 2

Tried Importing DB and the request fails.

Is there any environment specific dependencies which is not letting DB to migrate from one portal to another.

Also suggest how should we go ahead to achieve the goal of portal code migration.nagar

@Vishal Bhatnagar , Are you truing to export import DB between same instance different environments like dev, test , live ?

Hi Anil,

I was trying -

Portal 1 : Live instance : Export DB and Code

and

Portal 2 : Dev instance : Import DB..

I think we have to Export and Import on same instance like Dev to Dev or Live to Live. Right?

I have just tested same & it works perfectly fine. Can you post more details like screenshots / error messages / logs to understand better ?

• Created some new content in test environment
• Export Database
• Import Database into Dev Environment
• Import worked as expected, i can see the data in dev environment.
