URL it is not displaying after creating a new API proxy

Hi there ! I am creating an API proxy for learning purposes but I can not find the URL that is displayed in the "edit proxy" pane under the Deployments section at the majority of the tutorial videos in the web (as it is shown at the first image bellow) . I also noticed that whenever I try to create a new API proxy I do not have the stage " Virtual hosts ", I have just the following stages "Proxy details", "Policies" and "Summary" (as it is shown in the second image) . Can you please help me with that ? Is a setting that I have to change and if so, witch one ?

Thank you very much in advance !Screenshot 2022-05-31 152715.png

Welcome to the community.

There are different offerings on the platform &  also screen's might slightly differ between classic apigee UI vs new apigee UI

It depends which video you are checking and which offering you are validating 🙂

First of all I would like to thank you for your response, the problem is that I can not find the frontend URL, can you please help me about that ?

As stated earlier you will see difference in classic UI vs new UI.

The URL section is the endpoint which you will use to validate the proxy.

Start here and follow along -> https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/get-started/get-started

Virtual host is replaced with Environment Group https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/fundamentals/environments-overview

good luck.

Hi;

Not really sure I'm talking in the right flow here, but Apigee UI has become so complex and let's put it frankly, backwards, that it's almost unuseable. I have looked through all possible documentation for an hour and I'm still not able to see my endpoint url. Everytime I edit my proxy, it reverts to version 1 so I manually have to remember to switch every time to the latest version. Deployments take multiple minutes so development process is kind of erratic.

Can anybody look into what used to be a great tool and fix it? I know it's not really a question but come on this is not on-par with what we expect from a Google Cloud tool.

Kind regards;
