Setting up Developer portal/Analytics on AWS

hello,

We have Apigee Edge private cloud v. 4.17.01 setup in our in-house DC. We want to implement developer portal and scale out our current analytics infrastructure (postgres and qpid) but we would like to do that on AWS instead of our in-house DC. Has anyone implemented developer portal and analytics on AWS and hooked them into the in-house DC RPMs?

Is Latency a concern considering the fact that the communication between analytics and RPMs servers are expected to be too chatty?
