SMTP connectivity from API Proxy flow

Currently we are using Oracle API gateway, planing to migrate to Apigee Cloud, I have a question here, we are using smtp filter to send the notification , when ever ftp connectivity failed. Do we ave such kind filters or activities in apigee.

No such OOB feature available but simple java service callout will help..


Also there are bunch of community post happened on same subject(May be by mistake).Can you delete & keep one question.

This answer makes a suggestion for SMTP in Apigee.

And there are a number of options for FTP in Apigee too.
