I wanted to get some information about how people that is using Apigee OPDK is monitoring their infrastructure.
Currently we're running 4.18.01 and we are using Apigee Monitoring Dashboard, though that product was in Beta and Apigee has decided to not continue with it. The fact that after upgrading from 4.17.05 to 4.18.01 some dashboards stopped working is not a good sign for our next upgrade so we would like to have in place another monitoring tool before the upgrade happens.
We know that some people is using JMX though if you can just mention the combination of tools that you are using will be enough. If you have time to share more information here are some questions.
- how are you sending that data to your time series database? Jolokia, Collectd with the JMX plugin or any other agent.
- Can you share good and bad experiences with the agents that you have tested?
- What are your Key Performance Indicators?
