Oauth2 security for mgmt server and Dynamic SSL Configurations for Private cloud

Not applicable

Hi,

In apigee documents , Oauth2 security for mgmt server and Dynamic SSL Configurations are the two new features documented and it states that it is available as part of Edge cloud. Can you please confirm if these features are supported as part of private cloud and if yes from which version .

OAuth2 security for management server ( In the doc , it’s specified as for Edge cloud )

http://docs.apigee.com/api-services/content/using-oauth2-security-apigee-edge-management-api

Setting SSL configurations dynamically (( In the doc , it’s specified as for Edge cloud )

https://community.apigee.com/questions/17734/can-i-set-my-ssl-settings-dynamically.html

Thanks,

Suma

They are clarified for edge cloud, as meaning, it is only currently available in our public cloud version.

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification.

These features are available as part of 160102 version . And we have already taken 16.05 private cloud version . Please confirm if these features are not part of 16.05 version.

Thanks,

Suma

@Sumacv, dynamic TLS/SSL was available in Private Cloud 16.01 (as of cloud 16.01.20). OAuth with the management API (the acurl utility) is available as a separate download, so you can install it any time.

So both are available in Private Cloud 16.05.

@Floyd Jones where is the separate download for the OAuth for private cloud ?

@sgilson see Floyd's comments above ?

The doc topic itself tells how to download the utilities:

http://docs.apigee.com/api-services/content/using-oauth2-security-apigee-edge-management-api#install...

I don't know whether or not the acurl and get_token utilities are included in Private Cloud by default.
