We are inviting Apigee X / Hybrid customers to join the Advanced API security Public Preview. Apigee Advanced API Security is a comprehensive set of API security capabilities built on Apigee and enables you to more easily detect security threats with several functions:
- Automatic analysis and recommendation for APIs security configuration in order to avoid misconfiguration that might lead to data leaks. We now offer a simple way to adhere all API proxy configurations to security standards and best practices, to ensure security consistency.
- Bot detection and visibility via rules & reports that detect bots and suspicious activity in API traffic.
- Scraping and anomaly detection powered by Machine Learning algorithms - we are leveraging internal Google ML/AI and security domain expertise to better protect our Apigee customers by detecting scraping activity and anomalies on their APIs using Google trained Machine Learning algorithms. (this is launched as private preview, more details would be shared if you are interested)
