Multiple organisations per Google account?

Understanding organisations states 'Every Google Cloud account maps to one organization.'

My understanding reading this statement is that there is a limit of one organisation for each Google Cloud account.

However, Create an Apigee organization states 'You can have multiple organizations per Google account, but only one Apigee organization per Cloud project ID.'

So Understanding organisations requires an update to state 'Every Google Cloud account maps to one or more organisations.'? And every organisation maps to one Google Cloud project?

It is also unclear how this relates to the limit of one Instance per region. Is the limit one Instance per region per organisation? Or one Instance per region per Google Cloud account regardless of the number of organisations?

It sounds like it should be Every Google Cloud project maps to one organization. 

Accounts to organisations is 1 to many like you've mentioned.

The instances has nothing to do with accounts but rather tied to your Apigee organization - it's where your API proxy processing happens. So, it would be one per org.. or if your org runs in multiple regions then one per region per org.
