We have required automation logic written in Management API call using Basic Auth.
From Apigee Docs understand that Management API can be called using either (Basic Auth or OAUTH).
Have following queries:
If I have existing Management API calls to get Proxies details, in given Org and Environment and uses Basic Auth (for doing Management API calls) will such logic still works for listed A or B or C cases ?
A. Apigee SaaS/ Apigee OPDK Edge UI login done via Basic Auth
B. Apigee SaaS/ Apigee OPDK Edge UI login done via using SSO.
C. Apigee SaaS/ Apigee OPDK Edge UI login done via using MFA.
My understanding was Management API calls with basic auth will work for all above cases (A,B,C) irrespective how Edge UI is logged in ?
Login to Edge UI methods (from SaaS/OPDK) could be either Basic Auth/SSO/MFA) is totally isolated from Management API call hence that should work as long as user is org admin (in Apigee Edge UI) and still can use Management API call using Basic Auth across all listed scenario. Please confirm my understanding
D. As per link lists following

Question : Does "Basic authentication referred above only for Edge UI & Management API calls (both ?)

Note that Basic authentication does not work when the New Edge experience is enabled.

Question : Does above information is applicable for using Management API Call with Basic Auth as well ? ie if we have New Edge experience will the Management API Call with Basic Auth will work or not ? when apigee-sso is integrated with External IDP (with SSO-SAML mode) will Management API call with BasicAuth will work?
