Is there support in Apigee specs for remote references?

Hello,

I was noticing that the openapi specification supports remote references (https://swagger.io/docs/specification/using-ref/) and was wondering if this is something which we can leverage within Apigee specs. We have a few specs which are getting quite large and we were looking at this as one way to get them to a more manageable size by having the share properties and schemas.
