IP Binding in Edge 4.16.01 AIO installation

Not applicable

We are automating installation of Edge 4.16.01 AIO, on our private cloud for our development purpose.

So we will be creating a image of the installation and then use RightScale to create new instances using the created image, on demand.

We came to know that during the installation "hostname -i" is used by installer, to get the IP of the instance and based on the same the UUID for that instance is generated. This UUID is added in zookeeper which is a central repository for all UUIDs. Till the time the IP of the machine does not change things work fine. As the UUID of a machine is dependent on IP and its retrieve the same by hostname command. If the IP is changed the UUID will not match and can result in errors.

We are trying to figure out if that's the case how our image based installation can work? The IP of the new instance to be created from image will have different IPs.
