How to use OAS-Validation policy for a proxy without pathsuffix?

Hope you're doing great!

We're working on implementing OAS Validation policy for validating mandatory params.  I'm aware that we would need a yaml file along with OAS Validation policy, and we would need to define the paths there.

Now, I would like to understand what if there're no path suffixes? what if there's just a base path? How do I define paths using yaml here? how do I validate request parameters using OAS-validations? 

It would be really great if you could please explain this?
