How to populate secrets using agent?

Hello, 

I read hybrid documentation about Secrets, but the only way reported to populate secrets is by kubectl.

I found a doc from @Former Community Member , but it's not very clear for me how I can populate secrets used by runtime via agent:

1. Which existing deployments may have its definition patched to include the necessary annotations? The Agent only modifies a deployment if it contains a specific set of annotations. 
2. How should I structure data in export section of template?
3. Which service account should I use?
