How to edit or delete an external file like a request.xml attached? The upload does not overwrite the old file and adds the new file with _0, this is useless as I would have been referring to the old file in other places.

Can you pls elaborate what you are trying to do and your case ? When you say edit/delete/upload external file - what do you mean ? What are you trying to do ? Do you need to use both the files (old and new for your use case) ?
