Guidance on using the ExternalCallout policy?

The ExternalCallout policy is new to Apigee X. 

My team and I would like to know about the policy how it works and what gRPC server we need to call to test it and Do we  need to create a gRPC server? to use that policy 

there are no videos to refer about policy can you  help me with that external callout policy

I feel your pain!

There's no video now, but I'll work on producing one in the next few days, and I'll update this thread when that happens. 

And in the future we'll work to expand the set of videos to cover all the new features available in Apigee X and hybrid.

Can you specify any Hostname to send requests to test the external callout policy so we will get an idea about it

if possible
