Dev Portal :Certify Request and Certify Status , what is it for.

Hello All, we are exploring all features inside Dev portal and we came across 2 options under Tools. Certify Request and Certify Status which is Under tools menu. App Developer could see these options when he logs in. So what are these for.

It is a custom module we added (that I believe is disabled on your portal), where developers can submit apps after they have followed a "certification" process (which you can think of a testing process to show they conform to the rules set by the API provider).
