Deploy Apigee Adapter for Envoy on GKE cluster with Istio without Apigee Hybrid

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a possibility to deploy Apigee Adapter for Envoy on GKE cluster with Istio/ASM without setting up Apigee Hybrid? Currently in the documentation there is only information how to setup Apigee Adapter for Envoy with Apigee Hybrid (https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/envoy-adapter/v2.0.x/example-hybrid) but is it possible to do this without it ?
