I have created an Apigee's integrated portal and wanting to host it on a custom URL similar to this - https://developers.companyname.com/api
There are clear steps mentioned on how to configure a custom domain for the portal at https://docs-new.apigee.com/custom-domain, but what if I want to specify a url path along with the domain name?
Do Apigee supports something like a “base path” for custom developer portal domain?
Thanks,
Shivani
Hi Shivani, AFAIK, it is not possible to add a base path for Unified Developer Portals. It is not very clear the reason for adding a base path for a web application. Nevertheless, one option for this might be to use a sub domain such as "api.developers.companyname.com" if it is more like a naming requirement. Thanks!
Can you help me understand why you'd want to specify a base path? We don't have a story in our backlog for this, today.
The idea is to host apigee's api dveloper portal on my existing enterprise developer portal, on a path like https://developers.companyname.com/api/v2.
Because the portal is meant to allow providers to group consumer-developers into audiences to which some content is visible but not other content, I suspect this might be tricky to shoehorn into another, slightly different experience. Or am I missing a nuance here?
