Cassandra nodes version compatibility

Hello Team,

We are planning to upgrade the apigee components to 4.51

We have three DC and planning to upgrade each DC with a week gap.

In this case any problem with cassandra  communication between DCs due to version compatibility within this week gap.

Thanks in advance!

Cassandra only went through minor version upgrades in the last few OPDK releases and nodes across minor versions are able to work with each other within a cluster.

Having said that, it may be better to upgrade the same type of component across DCs at a time rather than upgrading a complete DC at a time. So, it should be cleaner to upgrade all Cassandra nodes in all DCs together, then in the next cycle, upgrade all ZK nodes and so on. This will ensure that clusters formed by various types of components across DCs remain compatible with each other.
