Basic Authentication

Hi All,

I have used basic authentication policy to validate the credentials but i dont know where to store the credentials to authenticate.

Note: In Layer7, we have Internal identity Provider and external LDAP if we configure so that we can see and create our own accounts and validate them thru basic auth.

Now i added the basic authentication policy and raise fault policy to give error if any wrong credentials but where are the users and which accounts i should use. I am able to get the login prompt but i dont know what to pass.

Could you please someone help me on this to create new users for validating thru basic auth.

It seems you need some hands on experience on Apigee edge. I will recommend you to register here, and go through the edge developer bootcamp videos. The videos will give you a good insight into how to do development on apigee edge. Along with it you can also go through apigee's excellent documentation.
