Assets are publicly accessible on restricted portal

Hello,

We are using Apigee edge and created a restricted integrated dev portal for our clients. We have created custom pages for sharing other information. In those custom pages, we are linking custom documents that are uploaded under the assets section. Custom pages can't be accessible without login but assets are publicly accessible without login. If you know the url of asset then you don't need login to access those documents. 

This is putting our documents at risk. is there any way to restrict these documents under the assets section to be available only for registered users?

Uploaded file assets are public.
