Apigee integrated Developer portal CNAME

Hello

When we create a integrated developer portal from the interface, the portal has this kind of URL

xxx-test.apigee.io

but when we look for the settings/domains of the portal, the expected CNAME is this
xxx-test.apigee.net

Is there anything I am misunderstanding ?

How should the  CNAME be defined ?
Thanks

First some information

xxx-yyy.apigee.net is the format of CNAMEs for Apigee Edge (SaaS) Environment virtualhosts. This is the endpoint that is exposed for API traffic.

xxx-zzz.apigee.io is the format of CNAMEs for Apigee integrated portals.

And now a question: What problem are you trying to solve?

Hello Dino, thanks for the reply

you say :

  • xxx-zzz.apigee.io is the format of CNAMEs for Apigee integrated portals.
  • xxx-yyy.apigee.net is the format of CNAMEs for Apigee Edge (SaaS) Environment virtualhosts.

but in the screen of the developer portal settings/domains, it appears that xxx-yyy.apigee.net is expected rather than xxx-zzz.apigee.io.

Though the dev portal is .io, I should put .net ??

Regards

The -portal.apigee.net references a hidden proxy environment used to apply TLS policies before being passed through to the actual Integrated Portal servers. When configuring your custom domain, you should use the CNAME with the exact domain as listed on that page.
